Barry M's Speedy Quick Dry 'Road Rage' Nail Paint (SDNP3):

Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine 'Sugarplum' Nail Paint (GNP38):

Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine 'Cotton' Nail Paint (GNP35):

I am a massive fan of the Gelly nail paints by Barry M, and 'Cotton' white is no exception. I use this colour quite a lot for my nail art as it is a good base coat colour for ombre/gradient nails, making the colours really vibrant. It's also just a signature colour that no nail box should be without.

With 2-3 coats, Cotton gives you pretty good coverage. But, although it is a 'gelly hi-shine' nail polish, I feel as though it is definitely not as glossy as the rest of the polishes in the collection, as you can see above. Above, I have used 2 coats and no top coat. It almost looks like a matte finish in the picture, but although it does give some shine it doesn't give much and a top coat would definitely be necessary for a glossy finish.

In terms of the colour, well what can I say. It's white. But - it is a very bright white which is why I love it more than other white nail paints. It's a vibrant colour and definitely one of my favourites.

Barry M's Matte 'Espresso' Nail Paint (MNP1):

First of all I would just like to excuse my short and stubby nails in the picture above! I painted these back in the winter when I had cut my nails down; I will be replacing this picture when we move back into autumn and I can get away with black nails!

Well what can I say about this nail varnish? It's a classic. No nail varnish should be without a good black nail varnish - and Barry M's 'Espresso' is a brilliant one to have. It gives a good coverage in 2-3 coats, above I am wearing 2 coats with a top coat and I think it could have done with one more coat to give it the perfect coverage.

The matte finish? I absolutely love it. I know matte is not to everyones taste but I think it makes this black nail polish look really elegant and smart. Perfect for dressing up or down a wintery outfit. Topped with Barry M's Matte top coat and you have the perfect mani. I can definitely say that this colour is one of my favourites from Barry M's matte collecton.

Barry M's Speedy Quick Dry 'In A Heartbeat' Nail Paint (SDNP4):

Currently Barry M's Speedy Quick Dry collection are my favourite range by them!

Not only do this nail varnish dry a lot quicker than normal nail varnishes which gives them an immediate advantage, meaning there is less chance of me smudging my nails after I have painted them, but it also have a new brush.

The brush on the Speedy Quick Dry range is more broad than their previous nail brushes and this makes it easier to paint your nails as it gives you better coverage in fewer strokes.

I love the colour of this nail polish. The only way I can describe it is that it is subtle but vibrant at the same time! The nail varnish gives good coverage and a lovely colour can be achieved in just one coat. Above, I am wearing 2 coats of 'In a Heartbeat' without a top coat, and look at the glossy finish it has without one - I love it.
